Fabrication and processing of materials sold here, (cutting, sawing, polishing, griding, breaking, crushing, drilling, sanding, or sculpting etc.) will generate dust that contains harmful chemicals subject to proposition 65. Unprotected and uncontrolled exposure to such dust is dangerous to your health and can cause several ilnesses such as silicosis, lung cancer, fibrosis of the lungs, tuberculosis, kidney diseases, abrasions of the cornea, and irritation of the skin and eyes.

Products sold here such as Quartzite, Granite, Marble, Limestone, Travertine, Porcelain, Quartz, Glass, Hardwood, Vinyl, Laminate, and Ceramic in forms of slab, tile, plank or mosaic might contain different levels of chemicals including silica, cyristalline, (airbone particles of respirable size), which ar known to the State of California to cause cancer, and lead, which are known to the State of California to cause birth defects or other reproductive harm.

Wherever the above products are fabricated and processed, a silica dust control program shall be in place in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, orders and directives, including those issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Cal-OSHA.
